Gaza: Thousands celebrate Jerusalem attack

ed: this is just the kind of thing which would obliterate any kind of world support for the Gaza Humanitarian problem. When people die on their side of the fence, no one in Israel starts to dance and distribute candy in the street. This is the basic difference between a civilized response to death and a terrorist response to death. They need to stop these parades.

Gaza's streets filled with joyous crowds of thousands on Thursday evening following the terror attack at a Jerusalem rabbinical seminary in which eight people were killed.

In mosques in Gaza City and northern Gaza, many residents went to perform the prayers of thanksgiving. Armed men fired in the air in celebration and others passed out sweets to passersby.

Hamas stopped just short of claiming responsibility but issued a statement saying the group "blesses the (Jerusalem) operation. It will not be the last,'' Hamas said in a statement. more

I didnt see any post about the 120 deaths on the Palestinian side on your blog. This very uncommon for a humanist/feminist who writes with passion about issues of global concern.
All killings are deplorable and the 120 losses should be equally condemned by you for the sake of the values you claim you stand for.

Peace

Anonymous, that's because those 120 Palestinian dead came as a result of Hamas daily non-stop Quassam and Grad rocket fire at israel Southern communities. Get it through your dumb thick arab skull

I am not anonymous, and I am warning you, whoever you are, that I will not allow racial or religious slurs on this blog. I didn't erase your commment as I want everyone to see what you wrote and my response. There is no need for this kind of discourse on this blog, and I will not tolerate it. I am trying to build bridges here, and you are destroying them.
Next time, you are deleted.

One asks , why do the revolting outburts that accompany ALL reporting on Palestinian issues in Haaretz not count as 'dsitributing candy'. Not everyone agrees with these fanatics; only those who search for every excuse to continue to attack women and children (on both sides)
